King Energy is a next generation energy company bringing solar power to multi-tenant commercial properties, such as shopping centers, office buildings and medical plazas.

The King Energy software platform allows us to generate clean energy and distribute locally to the businesses at a commercial property. We handle all components of solar financing, installation and ongoing program management, creating a simple solution that adds financial value to property owners and their tenants.

Job Description

The Sales Analyst is responsible for researching target markets, identifying target properties, researching local energy rates and regulations and supporting outreach efforts by the King Energy sales team.

This position is an entry level, full-time position designed for someone who wants to build a long-term career in sales, sales operations or marketing.

The position is based out of King Energy’s office in San Luis Obispo, CA, which will be opening in the Fall of 2021.


  • Researching target markets
  • Identifying property managers and property owners in target markets
  • Managing data in the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (
  • Researching energy rates and local energy regulations around solar energy
  • Gathering address, phone and email information for customers and target customers
  • Reviewing conversion metrics on email, mail and phone-based outreach campaigns
  • Developing and managing reports relating to the company’s sales performance
  • Recording tenant energy statistics in CRM

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Strong analytical capabilities
  • Experience with Google Docs/Sheets or Microsoft Office products
  • Track record of success in past educational and work experiences
  • Ability to succeed in a dynamic, fast growth environment
  • Desire to develop a career in sales, marketing or business operations


This is a full-time position that will include salary, benefits and participation in King Energy’s stock option program.
