Position:

King Energy is seeking a motivated, talented sales professional, with proven experience in managing large, enterprise-scale relationships, to place solar and storage programs at commercial and industrial properties.

This position will work with national retail brands that have existing partnerships with King Energy, such as clothing retailers, restaurants and grocery stores. The goal of the role is to identify, scope and secure agreements for solar programs at additional commercial properties that are owned or occupied by these retail brands, which will typically be retail locations and distribution centers.

King Energy has signed partnerships with over 40 national retail brands. The focus of the position will be to expand these existing relationships.

King Energy is a remote-first workplace. Candidates for this position should be located in the continental United States and should be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities:

  • Expand existing relationships with the energy management and ESG departments of national retail brands.
  • Manage ongoing quarterly business reviews with national retail brands, focusing on sharing the financial and sustainability benefits of King Energy programs.
  • Lead the process of generating leases for new solar programs at additional properties within the portfolio of existing partners.
  • Scope and present solar and storage programs for commercial properties, with the assistance of King Energy’s operations and sales support teams.
  • Negotiate and sign leases with property owners.
  • Consistently meet company targets for quantity and size of leases signed, measured on a quarterly basis.
