The Role:
We're seeking an experienced Commercial Solar Project Manager to join our growing team. You'll be the driving force behind our project execution, working closely with our EPC partners and internal teams to ensure successful delivery of our commercial solar installations. In this role, you'll manage the full project lifecycle from initiation through completion while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
You'll serve as the key coordinator between our construction teams, customers, and utilities, orchestrating complex commercial solar installations while ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and informed. Your expertise in commercial solar will be crucial in navigating permit approvals, managing project timelines, and maintaining project budgets.
You will be instrumental in expanding our project portfolio across our different markets, bringing order to complex projects, and ensuring successful delivery of our solar installations. You'll also work closely with our internal teams to ensure smooth handoffs between sales, construction, and operations phases.

- Process expert who can manage a portfolio of complex commercial solar projects to schedule and budget at scale, while maintaining quality and efficiency
- Self-starter who takes ownership of projects and drives them to completion with limited direction
- Skilled communicator who can effectively manage relationships with contractors, utilities, jurisdictions, and both internal and external customers
- Systematic thinker who proactively identifies challenges, develops solutions and effective processes, and executes with precision
- Solar professional ready to dive deep into commercial rooftop projects
You Get Bonus Points For:
- Experience with community solar and Virtual Net Metering (VNEM) projects
- Experience deploying battery storage systems, EV chargers, and solar carports
- Extensive experience with utility interconnection and permit approval processes
- Familiarity with local markets, such as California, Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware, and Pennsylvania
