We install solar power at multi-tenant commercial properties, such as shopping centers, office buildings and medical plazas, and provide the power we generate to the businesses at the property.

Our goal is to turn open rooftops into sources of clean, renewable power, and to do this in a way that generates increased rent revenue for property owners and lowers energy costs for small, local businesses, while also speeding the adoption of clean energy.

Job Description

The Account Executive role is responsible for engaging local businesses to educate them about the benefit of utilizing solar energy and to enroll them in King Energy’s solar program.

This position is designed for talented, driven candidates who are interested in building a successful long-term sales career. This is an entry-level sales role that is structured to provide training and support to individuals who want to progress up a sales career ladder.

The position is based out of King Energy’s newly established sales office in San Luis Obispo, CA, and will work with businesses throughout California.

Duties & Responsibilities

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for phone and email outreach to engage tenants at the properties in our portfolio to collect energy usage information and to get them to enroll in our program.

  • Outbound prospective customer calls / emails / and other forms of outreach
  • Extensive interaction with Salesforce and SalesLoft to streamline and maximize customer engagement
  • Thorough research of prospective customers using any and all available tools
